One day exposure trip by National College PG Students. 13 August 2022

Awareness program on natural, traditional farming, benefits of natural fertilizers & natural pesticides were discussed & explained for Post-Graduate (Biotechnology Department) students 35 numbers from National College, Tiruchirapalli. Along with the students 2 Professors and 3 Lecturers eagerly involved in the knowledge transfer.. Students were educated on different types and health benefits of our native paddy varieties, cultivation of those varieties through natural farming methods, integrated farming and sustainable living. Healthy traditional food was provided for lunch to the students to give them the feel of our healthy traditional recipes. Recipe included porridge made with traditional red rice, boiled and roasted chick-pea, boiled and overnight soaked traditional white rice with buttermilk, boiled egg and home-made mango pickle.
